I saw Sonny at a small club in Hampton, Va. (!!) almost 20 years ago. I wondered then as now why someone so great was playing in such an obscure location and even more why there weren't more people in attendance. It was a great show & I feel incredibly fortunate to have witnessed his genius.

Heard so many great stories through the years, and enjoyed so much of the music. Congratulations to the Sharrock family on the dedication of "Sonny Sharrock Way" in downtown Ossining on Oct 2, 2010.
